Welcome to LifeStance! My name is Marita and I will be one of your guides on your journey to wellness. I bring more than a decade of clinical expertise with me with experience caring for patients at inpatient psychiatric hospitals, crisis stabilization units, outpatient clinics and community mental health centers. I'm an expert with psychotropic medications but I believe in partnering with you to create a holistic person centered treatment plan. My plans incorporate complementary and alternative therapies in concert with conventional psychiatry, exercise, and a diet designed for a healthy body and mind.

Paul Damian Cox, M.D. is a board certified psychiatrist. He graduated from UC Davis Medical School, which he attended as a Regents' Scholar. Dr. Cox completed his internship and residency at UC San Francisco, where he developed several psychotherapy groups and in 1995 served as Chief Resident. His professional areas of expertise and interest include comprehensive management combining medication and therapy, as well as mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR). Dr. Cox is an experienced teacher drawing from interpersonal neurobiology and social cognitive learning theory.
