Eric A. Lazcano, M.D. is an ABPN-Board Certified Psychiatrist. He graduated medical school from UT Southwestern, and completed psychiatry residency training as Chief Resident from Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. Dr. Lazcano is an adult general psychiatrist who has been overseeing a South Bay Los Angeles private practice since 2018. In addition to offering both in-person and virtual sessions, Dr. Lazcano creates content on social media to help his audience members achieve lives with less stress.

I provide comprehensive mental health services to adults, adolescents and couples. For patients who have complex needs such as multiple medical or mental health diagnoses, who have seen many previous practitioners with no results, or who do not want to see multiple providers or need integrated care with a single person they trust, my practice is an ideal fit. I have specialty training in mood disorders, personality disorders, neurodivergence in all its forms, and working with other providers including physicians, lawyers, estate planners, neuropsychologists, and care managers as well as . I am empathetic and highly skilled at treating individuals with substance use disorders and behavioral addictions such as gambling, sex and eating disorders. I understand the prevalence of trauma, mood, and anxiety disorders in patients recovering from substance and/or behavioral addictions, thus I accept patients with dual or multiple diagnoses. Of specific interest to me is working with licensed professionals who have addiction treatment needs. I provide education, intervention, assessment, treatment support, monitoring, and/or relapse prevention to professionals whose licensing and/or ability to practice is at stake.

The practice is geared towards teens and young adults with Anxiety and Depression. My approach is to provide specialized support with cognitive and behavioral therapy along with medication as needed to my patients.
