I specialize in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders. I'm dedicating to helping patients understand their mental health conditions and finding the appropriate treatments, such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), which I began to offer upon seeing its remarkable effect on those who had not responded to other therapies.

This includes my foundations as a Yale-educated physician who was then trained by some of the most expert psychopharmacologists and psychotherapists at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute. My style is grounded in the mind-body connection by blending mindfulness, behaviors, and holistic interventions with medications.

I currently accept new adult patients for medication management. My services include, but are not limited to psychiatric assessment, medication management and supportive therapy. My therapeutic style is casual, interactive and professional. I recognize mental health is uniquely personal, so I tailor evaluations and treatments to your needs. My experience being a Registered Nurse in a busy community emergency department has helped me view each patient individually. I hope to combat the stigma of mental health, bring awareness to the field, and be a good model for the community. I strive to make patients feel heard and taken care of.

I focus on patients with clinical depression, bipolar depression, treatment-resistant mood and psychotic disorders. I am particularly interested in helping patients with neuromodulation and brain stimulation therapies, such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).

We will work using talk therapy to explore your thoughts, feelings, behaviors, personality, and relationships to better sort out your reasons for seeking help. We will consider whether there is a biological aspect to your difficulties and if you may benefit from medications to enhance your therapy. Finally, we will identify your goals, strengths, temperament, interests, personality traits, and life experiences to tailor an individual treatment for you.

As such, I offer patients comprehensive treatment, not just from a neurobiological perspective, but also a from a humanistic one. I approach my patients with compassion, respect and a commitment to confidentiality.
