As a board-certified, UCLA-trained psychiatrist, I provide care for adult patients, treating a range of diagnoses including depression, anxiety, bipolar/mood disorders, OCD, ADHD, PTSD, eating disorders. I completed a Mood Disorders Fellowship at UCLA treating bipolar patients. I also received extensive training in experiential psychodynamic therapy and other therapy modalities through the years. How long does therapy take for anger management?

Is there medication for anger management?

It’s helpful to express your concern and love for the person while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Offering specific examples of how an individual’s behavior affected either themselves or others should be done with compassion and with empathy.
