With years of experience in diverse medical settings, Orah discovered her passion for mental health and obtained a post-master’s certificate in psychiatry at California State University, Los Angeles.

Brittany Murray is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. After gaining extensive experience as a nurse across several disciplines, she then went on to obtain her Post-Master's Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner certification from the University of South Alabama in 2018.

I believe in a individualized approach to treatment. Although many patients may present with similar symptoms, the causes and context underlying those symptoms can be very different and thus the treatment plans are unique. Some patients may benefit from psychotropic medications either for a short period of time or for long term maintenance treatment. Others would gain more benefit from psychotherapy or talk therapy, where some of the root causes underlying the symptoms can be addressed and healed. The choice to use medications, therapy or a combination of both depends on the context of symptoms and the patient's wishes.
