She focused on learning developmental disabilities and autism at the Center of Developmental Disabilities, UNM. Two years later, her son was diagnosed with autism and a rare genetic disease. Dr. Anca Luminare earned her medical degree from the University of Medicine Cluj Napoca, Romania. She completed General Adult Psychiatry training at UCLA-Kern. I focus on patients with depression and those people who may be treatment-resistant, having not felt relief from their depressive symptoms with medication and therapy alone. I use Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), an effective treatment with relatively few risks and side effects, as an important tool to help my patients.
