I am a board certified child & adolescent psychiatrist who is Stanford and Columbia University educated, received my MD from USC Keck School of Medicine, and completed my residency and fellowship training in Adult, Child, and Adolescent Psychiatry from UCLA Resnik Neuropsychiatric Institute and Hospital. Most importantly, I am thorough, compassionate, and results oriented with every patient I see in my private practice. I have successfully treated patients of all ages for over 20 years as a well seasoned and caring cognitive behavioral therapist in the West Los Angeles area.

I am board certified in Adult Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry, and treat adult individuals of all ages and backgrounds. My areas of interest and experience include college mental health, integrating psychotherapy with medication, mood disorders, thought disorders, depression and anxiety, healthy aging and memory issues, as well as psychiatric issues in pregnancy and post partum. Hi! I am a dual Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner who is Licensed Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in psychiatric mental health disorders and behavioral therapy. I received my master's from the University of Charles R Drew University in 2020 and prior to that I also graduated with a master’s degree in Family Nurse practitioner in 2018 and have been practicing for 6 years. I began my career with underserved populations, this deepened my devotion to helping people struggling with mental health. My goal is to develop strong therapeutic relationships with each patient, grounded in trust and empathy.

A graduate of Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia, Dr Seager completed his psychiatry residency at Martin Luther King Hospital in Los Angeles. A former Emergency Room physician, Dr Seager is also a retired Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at UCLA School of Medicine.
