I was born and raised in Egypt and completed my medical school from Cairo University School of Medicine. After I travelled to California with my husband, I joined Stanford public mental health and population sciences division as a researcher. I completed my adult psychiatry residency from University of New Mexico School of Medicine and my child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Stanford University. In addition to my clinical work , I am passionate about improving community health through psychoeducational initiatives for underserved & minority populations.

Mali Mann, MD is adult, adolescent and child psychiatrist and psychoanalyst in Palo Alto and San Francisco California. After finishing her medical school, she finished her residency and child fellowship at University Rochester and Kanas. She finished adolescent Medicine fellowship at Stanford university Psychiatry Department. She completed her adult and child psychoanalytic training at San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis. She is a faculty member and Training and supervising psychoanalyst, adult and child at SFCP. She is also an adjunct Clinical Professor at Stanford University, School of Medicine. She published "Psychoanalytic Aspect of Assisted reproductive Technology" and collection of her poetry.

I am a Stanford and Emory trained child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist. Each patient of mine is a distinct individual with their own unique life experiences, strengths and challenges. Therefore, I create a specialized treatment plan in a collaborative and respectful manner, providing compassionate and evidence-based psychotherapy and/or pharmacologic management in a warm, supportive environment.
