At Buena Vida Integrative Health our focus is to treat the person as a whole. We focus on integrative psychiatry, which aims to rebalance the mental, emotional, spiritual, social, and community in the individual. In integrative psychiatry, we focus on combining medication, lifestyle interventions, and therapy modalities, such as brief supportive psychotherapy and solution focused therapy. Our goal is to empower each person to maximize their well-being to reach their ultimate good life or “buena vida” in Spanish.
Board certified as a family nurse practitioner and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, we will evaluate any reversible causes such as thyroid abnormalities, vitamin D deficiencies, or hormonal imbalances, as well as make recommendations regarding lifestyle changes and prescribe medications as needed.
