I am a board-certified mental health nurse practitioner. I work with adolescents and adults who struggle with a variety of mental health concerns. I am passionate about mental health and firmly believe that working with vulnerable populations is my purpose. Although my focus is medication management, I believe improving mental health involves a holistic approach that addresses multiple lifestyle factors. I take pride in being a good listener. I genuinely want to understand where my patients come from so that I can develop a treatment plan that is evidence-based, holistic, and targeted to meet individual needs.
During your first appointment with me, we will discuss your symptoms in detail. I will also ask you about other aspects of your history. I value this time together because it helps me learn about you and your specific needs. At the end of the appointment we will make a treatment plan that addresses your goals in a way that is safe and agreeable to you.
Living with mental illness is difficult. You must be stronger than the average person just to get through your day. But there is always hope.
