I am a board certified, doctorally-prepared psychiatric nurse practitioner who treats a variety of mental health conditions primarily using medications. I believe developing a safe, trusting, and respectful therapeutic relationship between client and provider to be essential to the treatment process and facilitates optimal treatment outcomes. I take a "marathon not a sprint" treatment approach, take the time necessary during sessions, and do not rush important clinical decisions. I listen intently which results in accurate diagnoses and honor client treatment preferences which results in appropriate, effective treatments.
People experiencing mental health struggles suffer varied and complex symptomology--I work diligently towards the resolution of all client-reported symptoms. Some of my particular clinical interests pertain to the adult manifestations of childhood trauma and the interplay between adult ADHD and depressive, anxious, sleep, and other symptomology.
My practice is small and telehealth-based, so I can offer a very client-friendly approach with flexible appointment scheduling.
