Raised in Texas, she received her undergraduate degree from the United States Naval Academy and obtained her medical degree from UT Health San Antonio. She then served as an active-duty Naval physician in the aviation community for 10 years. Dr. Milmo completed psychiatry residency at UT Health San Antonio, where she served as chief resident.
Drawn to the impact of mental health on all facets of well-being, she pursued psychiatry to help patients navigate transitions, overcome challenges, improve relationships, and lead more balanced, meaningful lives.
