I am a board certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I practice in Tacoma, and welcome all potential clients who want to meet with their provider in person for their mental healthcare. I also provide Telehealth services to meet with any client throughout the state of Washington, though I do request our first visit be in person to facilitate the establishment of a strong patient provider relationship. Originally from Utah, I have lived in the PNW for 10 years, after beginning my nursing career in the US Army.
After completing my time in service with the Army, I received my Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Washington. Services I offer include psychiatric assessment and medication management. I do not provide individual psychotherapy exclusively, however, supportive therapy is integrated into each medication management session.
I will work collaboratively with other therapists or members of your care team, and will make myself available to speak with a member of your care team to assist in your treatment. My treatment philosophy is centered on empowering each individual to become who they are and more fully enjoy the gift of life.
