He discovered his passion for helping others after graduating from ASU with a degree in nursing in 2012. Working as an acute care ICU nurse for years, it was extremely satisfying providing care and compassion to people who desperately needed it. However, after joining an outpatient assertive community treatment (ACT) team helping those with severe mental illness Jared knew he would become a psychiatric provider.
