Times of change and uncertainty can leave us feeling overwhelmed and disconnected from ourselves and others. Anxiety, depression and stress reactions can become common experiences. I work within an interpersonal and analytic perspective while incorporating the well known benefits of mindulness and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This combination creates curiosity, self-discovery and change. My style is warm, collaborative and flexible. You will find me actively involved rather than silent or distant.
I have a sub-specialty in the identification and management of work stress and compassion fatigue frequently experienced by nurses and which is especially heightened during this COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, I am a proud Army Nurse Corps veteran and welcome veterans to my practice.
My publications include "Mangaging Stress and Anxiety in the Age of COVID-19" (New York Daily News, 5/10/20) and "Your Career in Nursing" (Kaplan, 2011).
