As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I strongly believe that mental health matters and so do you. No one should have to go through difficult experiences and situations alone. Although, there is still a stigma that surrounds mental health, I thrive in providing an empathetic and nonjudgmental safe space for my patients. Providing a therapeutic environment that fosters trust, encouragement, and partnership while taking into account each patient holistically is my priority.
With over 20 years in the nursing profession, I have worked with a variety of populations, allowing me to connect with patients from all backgrounds. As an Army veteran and former military primary care clinic Care Coordinator, I understand the complex needs of military-affiliated patients and their families.
