I am traditionally trained in psychiatry with an undergraduate degree in Neuroscience and a Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Medical Sciences. I have worked in a variety of settings to include inpatient, outpatient, child, and addictions work. I have found a passion for working with adults primarily with mood disorders but also full-spectrum of psychiatric issues as well as issues that do not fit into diagnostic categories.
In my work with clients, I take on a non-pathologizing approach to mental health and try to help you discover your strengths as well as help you make sense of what lead to the development of symptoms which can be accomplished by learning to work with our unconscious through techniques such as dream interpretation.
