I have a history with ADHD and anxiety. I know what it's like to get good, quality treatment and what it's like to get lesser treatment from a non-specialist. I would always recommend a specialist for your mental health needs. Absolutely no offense to primary care providers, I used to be one, and I know that they provide an invaluable service, but the mental health training a PCP receives vs. a specialist is vast. I'm here to offer knowledge, guidance, and assistance on your mental health journey to optimal lifelong and daily functioning. We also offer nasal ketamine for depression that has resisted all other treatment options.
I have a background in both mental health and family medicine and hold dual certifications in both. While I only treat mental health now, my previous time in family medicine has given me a deep appreciation and understanding for how the body affects the mind and vice versa as well as taking the whole person into account when discussing treatment options.
