Hi! My name is Jamie! My goal is to truly get to know you so together we can create the best care plan to fit you or your child's needs for the goal of optimal mental health and wellness. I offer evaluation, diagnosis, medication management and holistic therapies for ADHD, anxiety, depression among other conditions for patients age 5-27. In addition to medication management, I incorporate many homeopathic supplements, foods, exercise and alternative therapies such as mindfulness, meditation, guided visualization, deep breathing, sleep hygiene, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and heart math into my practice.

Prior to joining Spruce Psychiatric, I was employed at Pacific Medical Centers alongside primary care providers and other medical specialists. This improved my ability to see psychiatric concerns from multiple perspectives (e.g. sleep medicine, neuropsychology, gastroenterology). I understand that physical and mental health are inextricably linked. I am a doctorally-prepared, board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I utilize a holistic, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and collaborative approach to managing a variety of mental health conditions requiring medication treatment. I am board certified in both general and geriatric psychiatry. I received my B.S. in Human Biology from Stanford University. I graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine in 2001 and completed a general psychiatry residency and geriatric psychiatry fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University. Following my training, I joined the faculty at OHSU as a geriatric psychiatrist, specializing in treating patients with refractory mood disorders with electroconvulsive therapy.
