Born and raised in Colorado, I am passionate about supporting those who live in our rural and mountainous communities. Colorado is a progressive state in many ways including the rights of the LBGTQ community as well as support for mental health. Marisa Amelung, MSN, PMHNP-BC, APN, is a master's prepared, board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) extern. She currently serves clients ages 18+ at Peak Interactive Wellness in Denver, Colorado. Marisa graduated from the University of Central Florida with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and attended Frontier Nursing University where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).

At our first appointment we discuss your goals and how you want to get there and create a plan together. As a psych nurse practitioner and a family nurse practitioner we can often dive deeper into your symptoms and look at the thyroid, hormones, vitamin levels and more to determine the cause of your symptoms.
