I am a Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of depression, anxiety, ADHD/ADD, OCD, sleep disorders, and a number of other psychiatric conditions. I offer a unique perspective to patient care and provide a holistic approach, emphasizing a connection between the mind and body. Dr. Cameron Mahle achieved his medical doctorate from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. His specialty training was completed at the Mount Sinai Hospital System. He obtained dual undergrad degrees in biology and anthropology at The Ohio State University. In addition to private practice, Dr. Mahle works at local NYC hospitals as an attending psychiatrist. Here he manages psychiatric emergencies and trains/supervises resident psychiatrists and medical students. Dr. Mahle's training had special emphasis in psychodynamic psychotherapy; a school of thought geared towards high-functioning and intelligent individuals.

I am a board certified, licensed psychiatrist, working in Manhattan. I graduated from the University of Vermont College of Medicine and completed my residency at Mount Sinai St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital. As a Nurse Practitioner, the core of my training was based on seeing a person holistically. In practice, this involves looking at all factors of a person's life, not just the issue that brought them into therapy. Although I am a prescriber, I believe in psychosocial interventions as a first line approach to healing. However, if we collaboratively decide that medications would be helpful, I provide those services as well. Most people have found it helpful to receive therapy and medication management from one person.

Here at the Venn Center, we offer patients a unique therapeutic experience. I conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments, as well as provide both individual and group psychotherapy to clients of all ages. I also offer pharmacotherapy and medication management when appropriate. That being said, 25% of my patients are not on any medication since I employ non-medicinal interventions that help remediate psychiatric symptoms whenever possible. Offering these complementary services allows the clients I work with to feel empowered in their desire for change toward a healthier way of being.

I am a Harvard and NYU-trained psychiatrist practicing in New York City who treats adults, adolescents, and couples. I have special interests in mood and anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD, weight and body image issues, relationship issues, and sleep disorders. I also have expertise in perinatal mental health and sexual dysfunction therapy. In my practice I see patients for both psychopharmacology and/or psychotherapy with emphasis on supportive, dynamic, interpersonal, cognitive behavioral, and sex therapy modalities.

In addition to the treatment of mood disorders and anxiety disorders her areas of expertise include reproductive psychiatry as well as management of psychiatric symptoms occurring from complex medical illness. She has a private practice in Manhattan and Long Island and has previously served as the associate director of the Consultation Liaison Psychiatry service at NYU Langone Medical Center for over a decade.
