This is a virtual DBT Skills Group that meets via Zoom. The group is didactic, feeling more like a class, and we learn DBT skills across four modules: mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance. We spend 5-weeks on each module, totaling 20 weeks for the program. The program starts on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. This group is a great fit for those who would like to cope more effectively with intense emotions, stop engaging in challenging or impulsive behaviors, manage conflict effectively and/or improve relationships. Groups have between 5-10 participants. Contact: grace@gmltherapy.com

I offer individual, couples and group psychotherapy to adults, taking an integrative holistic approach to treatment. I work with adults navigating challenges with anxiety, OCD, depression, family/relationship conflicts, trauma, women's issues, low self-esteem, impulsivity, and life transitions. My expertise is in integrative psychotherapy, where I draw from a variety of modalities, including CBT, DBT, mindfulness, ACT, relational and strengths-based approaches to provide individualized treatment. If aligned, I also draw from transpersonal psychology and spiritual practices in my work.
Many students experience anxiety in college, but most students feel alone in their struggles. This group is focused on giving you the support, time, and nonjudgemental space to process your challenges, and learn skills to help improve coping and managing symptoms. I can offer a free consultation to discuss the group further with you. Online group only; Group max is 6 students;

I have extensive experience developing positive relationships with children, adolescents and adults.
Many people often feel depressed and overwhelmed but may not know how to reach out for support. Choosing to start the therapy journey is a difficult decision and finding a therapist who fits your needs is important. I value providing an accepting and supportive time designed to focus solely on you and your needs. My goal is to provide guidance to help make daily life less overwhelming. I have experience using different therapy modalities and techniques, and together, we will find what works for you.
I lead a group (via Zoom) for parents with teens/young adults who are neuro-divergent, atypical and/or have a mental illness. The group provides emotional support and advice given in a non-judgmental atmosphere. I am a therapist, but also a parent who has (and still is!) going through these same issues. The group is safe, helpful and confidential in an environment where you can vent, commiserate, and share with other parents who are going through similar issues.

I work with both adults and children.
I provide a safe, trusting environment for my clients to open up and share their experiences without feeling judged or shamed. I take a warm, client-centered approach to psychotherapy, based on the work of Carl Rogers. I believe that one of the most valuable aspect of therapy is for the therapist to have unconditional positive regard toward the client. As my client, I will think the best of you, and truly believe that you are capable of great things. I am positive, non-judgmental and compassionate, and when you enter my office it will be a safe environment for you to be vulnerable and be yourself.

I work mainly with adults as individuals, as couples and in groups.
I am a licensed psychologist with over 30 years of experience working with clients. My work is based upon my belief that human beings are inherently good and yet all too often adopt limiting belief systems and habitual behavioral patterns which keep us from realizing our true nature. I work with clients who wish to regain their balance and integrity and assist them in learning how to live the lives they intuitively know they are meant to live. Clients often present with depression, anxiety and/or relationship difficulties and seek to feel better and sustain more on-going joy, love, and harmony in their lives.
LEARN & PRACTIVE EMOTIONAL REGULATION - Sometimes life just throws too much at us, and it feels like we're on the brink of dropping everything. I will try you if you are willing to try me. That said, I tend to wind up with a lot of teenagers and young adults, for some reason.
I offer Nurtured Heart Approach® (NHA) workshops to groups of parents, teachers, or other mental health professionals. They can then put this empowering approach into practice with their children, students, or clients. The core principles of NHA include focusing and being intentional in de-energizing negativity, in actively recognizing strengths, and in providing clear expectations consistently. NHA teaches ways to "reset" to help self-regulate. This approach delves deeper than typical behavioral interventions by seeing and addressing the heart of the child rather than just the misbehavior or emotional dysregulation. Contact me for details.

I have over 30 years of experience working with children, families, and adults, and I continue to learn through professional development and experience.
My approach to therapy is of empowerment, helping you recognize and build on your inner strengths, even if they seem hidden. You may be experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, the loss of a relationship, job or loved one, trauma - big or small, or other challenges. You may feel stuck, dissatisfied, unmotivated, fearful, confused, tense, numb, sad, or like something is missing in your life. I can work with you to help you improve your emotional wellbeing and deepen the connection to yourself and others.
I can think of no better place to work on how you function with others than in Group therapy. Group members work on effective communication, learning about their relational needs and how to get them met, learning to play and healing from dysfunctional/painful experiences. Ryan has extensive training and experience in group therapy and is a Certified Group Therapist through the American Group Psychotherapy Association and a Fellow of AGPA.

Relationships are powerful. They have the power to inspire us, help us grow, or they can smother and even damage us. We spend much of our time and energy engaged in relationships, tolerating, fixing, and avoiding relationships. I believe that relationships are powerful vehicles for change. As a psychotherapist, I offer a relationship that is warm, challenging, accepting, and personal where you can feel a full range of emotions, learn, grow, and attain your goals.

I’m passionate about supporting adolescents, adults, and couples in navigating life.
Do you feel like different parts of you are pulling in opposite directions—one part confident, another holding back in fear or self-doubt? Maybe you're stuck in patterns of anxiety or self-criticism and long to feel more grounded and connected to your true self. You want more than just temporary relief—you want to feel empowered and in control of your life. You’re someone who seeks deeper understanding, both of yourself and your relationships. You know there are unresolved emotions or internal conflict you're ready to do the work—but you need a guide who can offer a compassionate space and practical tools. That’s where I come in.

Our early years have a big impact on how we operate as adults. Our ways of being and personal struggles can often be traced back to our family of origin. How you were parented, the role you played in your family, the defenses you learned to get by or survive – these stay with you and inform how you operate in the world and in your relationships. Whatever your own history may have been, there's a place for what you learned and how you adapted; after all, it’s gotten you this far. But some of those early lessons have outlasted their usefulness and no longer serve you, leading to anxiety, depression, or chronic disconnection.

It can be hard to find a therapist who understands how living with marginalized identities impact the way we show up in the world—and for ourselves. I take a culturally-responsive and somatic (mind-body centered) approach and value authenticity and inclusivity in my work. I support individuals in understanding how their experiences, relationships, identities, and culture impact who they are and their behaviors and interactions in the world. I specialize in working with young adults, BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals, and 1st and 2nd generation immigrants experiencing life transitions.

Most of my experience since 2009 has been with groups, adults, and adolescents with self-harming behaviors, relationship issues, behavioral issues, anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders.
Hello and welcome to therapy! Emotions such as anxiety, fear, sadness, and anger can keep us stuck in negative situations and from progressing in our career and relationships. The first step to change is awareness. Speaking with a compassionate and competent professional can help you unlock your potential toward a more genuine version of you. I work from a client-centered counseling perspective, meaning that I approach the therapeutic relationship warmly, genuinely, and without judgment. My approach is to team with you to identify goals and help you create meaningful techniques that will assist you in reaching your goals.

I serve diverse adults (age 20+), specifically those who have alternative identities (artists, creatives, counter-culture, & minorities of all types) as well as other therapists. I provide a non-judgmental and understanding space for people who may have struggled engaging in therapy in the past due to feeling judged for being “weird” or “different”. My clients typically feel stuck in one or more areas of life (relationship, family, career, holistic health, identity, personal happiness, etc.) and are sometimes struggling with mood and/or anxiety disorders, substance abuse, maladaptive coping behaviors, unresolved traumas, etc.
