Trauma-Focused Eating Disorder Recovery

This group is for those who are in eating disorder recovery and are ready to explore common factors seen with eating disorders such as body judgment, disconnection, codependency, low self-esteem, and avoidance of emotions. The group will emphasize that eating disorders are not defined by the size of one's body but rather how someone is coping with the "deeper issue." We will use experiential methods (parts work, psychodrama, somatic practices, art therapy) to dive into the origins of negative core beliefs and coinciding maladaptive methods of coping through disordered eating behaviors.
