Teen DBT Skills Group
We help teens lear now to: manage intense emotions, reduce stress & tolerate difficult situations, maintain positive relationships with peers and ask for what they want & need in healthy and effective ways. Facilitated by Dr. Maribel Gonzalez, a DBT-Linehan Board Certified License Psychologist. This group is an excellent addition to individual therapy, although not a requirement. Grupo DBT en Espanol
Los clientes que se sienten abrumados por sus emociones o manejando estrés encuentran gran valor en las destrezas DBT. En estos grupos, los participantes aprenden destrezas que les ayuda a manejar emociones intensas, gestionar el estrés y relacionarse mejor con los demás. Ademas es un lugar donde puedes conocer a otros que están pasando por situaciones similares y sentirte apoyado. Los grupos se reúnen semanalmente durante 24 semanas consecutivas.
