Parenting a child with special needs can feel uncertain and challenging. For many parents, the road feels unpaved. Having a compassionate supportive community that "gets it" is an essential part of the journey. You are invited to join a parent support group led by Dr. Victoria Grinman, a therapist and speaker, with a deep practice focus in special needs, parenting and Posttraumatic Growth as it relates to parents of children with Autism and other differences In abilities.

Social Skills/Activities Group for Young Adults
This group is geared towards young adults (18-21 and 20-25) who are living with Autism or differences in life persepctives (participants do not need a diagnosis of ASD to benefit, however). This group meets once a week to facilitate meeting of new friends, try new things in the city (karaoke, bowling, movies, dinner, navigating, etc), learn/ practice social skills, and gain more confidence and independence. The group is led by an experienced clinician with expertise in ASD. The group meets in a designated location and duration of activities is from 2-4 hours.
