Star Group for Middle School Girls
Group addresses the unique needs of middle-school girls and through: art, journaling, and processing with peers. Issues addressed will include: Self-image, expoloring thoughts, hopes, & dreams, the importance of establishing healthy friendships and recognizing areas in friendship which require boundaries, leadership skills, and managing emotions. This group will use a Biblical perspective and welcomes all girls. This group runs for 6 weeks with an introduction session a parent/guardian is required to attend. Please email for further details. Please inquire for Group fee; fee is minimal and is set on a sliding scale basis.

Groups runs for 6 weeks. The goal of this group is to provide practical, down-to-earth methods to give parents and caregivers the know-how they need to have a less stressful and far more rewarding relationship with children of all ages (from toddlers to teens). Learn how to: Engage your child's willing cooperation- Deal with your child's negative feelings-frustration, disappointment, anger-Express your anger without being hurtful-Set firm limits and still maintain goodwill-Use alternatives to punishment that promote self-discipline-Encourage positive relationships between your children-Resolve family conflicts peacefully
