Skills and Support for Parents of Teens

A virtual group for parents to build effective skills and improve connection with their teen. In this 6 week series you will learn and practice the following: Week 1: Introduction and the Teenage Brain - What changes to expect and how to spot them. Week 2: Calming the storm - Helping your teen (and you!) manage the roller coaster of emotion. Week 3: Setting boundaries and providing consequences. Week 4: Skills for improving communication and reducing tension. Week 5: Keeping your Teen safe -Education, skills, and resources for when crisis happens. Week 6: Parenting skill review and takeaways
