Process Group for Adult Adoptees
Does "The Primal Wound" by Nancy Verrier speak to you ? Do you feel sometimes that love and loss exist in the same place? Do you feel that important parts of your experience somehow went unnamed and unparented even if you have a good relationship with your adoptive parents? We explore themes such as navigating relationships and living with what is known and unknown about your origins. Group gives the opportunity to offer and receive support from other adopted people with a goal of undoing the aloneness that one can feel as an adopted person. Online Tuesdays 5pm-6:30pm PST.

Is Adoption Right for Us? A Five Session Group
Have you been thinking about growing your family by adoption? It is so hard to know where to begin.? This workshop will educate you about the main types of adoption --- foster-adopt, private domestic adoption, international adoption --- and how to compare them. Together we will candidly examine what the adoption process will require of you across the board, including emotionally, financially and in terms of time. By the last session you should be clearer about whether adoptive parenting is a choice you are ready to make and if so, which kind of adoption is best for your family. Jan 2023

Mixed Gender Process Group
Are you finding it difficult to tolerate social vulnerability? Are you curious about how others experience you? Do you hit barriers in relationships but are baffled as to what they are? In group we cultivate enough trust and safety to practice and explore social interactions. It is a place to both offer and receive support and to share life's joys and sorrows while learning about yourself and others. Being in a group provokes self-awareness in an environment that simultaneously reminds you that you are not alone.
