Parent Support Group - Child Focus
For parents of children requiring additional support due to mental health or seeking parenting help for behavior challenges. The primary goal for this group is to help parents find effective ways to discipline or teach their children, and learn ways to help their child understand and cope with big emotions. Group sessions will be focused on: 1- Understanding the "why" behind behavior, 2- Setting and maintaining boundaries, 3- Nurturing positive interactions, 4- Connection before correction, 5- Problem solving, 6- Stress-reduction skills building.
