Parent Group: Building a Strong Parent-Child Bond

Our practice, Kimball Counseling Associates (KCA), holds 8-week online parent groups several times each year for parents of children and teenagers. The purpose is to build attachment/connection with your child/teen while learning how to discipline effectively without being punitive. The group is based in empirically-evidenced Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT) and Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI). You will learn the skills a play therapist utilizes in session and have the opportunity to become more attuned to those you love and care for.
