New Mother/New Baby Group
A group of women and their babies, under 6 months of age, will get together on a bi-weekly basis, for six sessions in a supportive environment, to share their experiences and to discuss the following issues: - Emotional Adjustment to Parenthood - Integration of the Experience of Childbirth - Family/Marital Changes - Changes in Your Body - Postpartum Needs and Feelings - - Parenting Styles - Nighttime Parenting and How to Get Your Baby to Sleep - Breastfeeding and Infant Nutrition - Socialization Needs of Mom and baby - Work and Motherhood - Couples Session
