I facilitate two Friday morning online men's process groups that meet every other week for 2 hours. These groups are LGBTQ-affirming and welcome men regardless of their faith tradition and socio-political viewpoint. Topics include: relationships, healing from loss, trauma, family of origin, parenting, divorce, mental health concerns, etc. I am careful to put the right mix of people together in each of my groups. These groups are ongoing; members stay in as long as it is helpful. We also meet in-person a few times per year for optional Saturday retreats.

Unleash your inner mermaid. Like a mermaid, you were born wondrous and whole, with awe-inspiring potential. Perhaps, like her, trauma hides your power, voice, and sense of magic; tries to cut you off from true self, body, community, and nature’s rhythms; tells oppressive stories that serve to keep you “in your place,” lost, lonely, ashamed, fearful, unfulfilled, or hating your body. The mermaid reclaims her birthright and returns to her community– stronger and more magnificent than ever. You, too, can lay that colonizing fear “am I enough?” in its watery grave, re-discover your voice, step into your wild power, and trust yourself.
Hybrid Counseling started in 2014 as an individual group practice of our founder who wanted to make therapy as accessible as possible. Before COVID made it popular, we were offering both in-person and online services to help clients and their families. Today, we are a growing with clinicians from diverse backgrounds and having many different specialties. Most of our therapists are dually licensed in both mental health and addiction counseling. Many of our clinicians also specialize in treating PTSD and trauma with interventions like EMDR. Our clinicians work days, evenings, and weekends making receiving therapy easily accessible.

There are six to twelve meetings per session.
My perspective is that we all can experience more joy and fulfillment in our personal and interpersonal relationships. Together we can gain insight and focus, take on new directions, achieve and find greater life satisfaction. I facilitate this process through emotional, experiential, spiritual, and educational support, where together people learn to better meet situational stressors, such as loss, financial struggles, life transitions, and habitual patterns. People begin to see their lives holistically and know their personal power. Together, we work to fully realize the empowerment, enhancement and enchantment that are the true nature of our being.

Humans often endure complicated transitions and unexpected challenges while learning to navigate the world. I especially enjoy working with people during dynamic times of life like middle school, high school, and college. I also specialize in work with creative individuals and artists. Clients are warmly accepted in my practice for who they are today. I help clients better understand their brain and their body's responses. My goal is to provide a stable environment that is both supportive and challenging. Please visit therapyredeemed.wordpress.com/about/ for more info & resources! Have you ever wondered about your adoption story? Has there ever been doubt, fear, anger, pain or confusion when it comes up? What’s it been like for you to process your personal experience of birth family, loss, grief, race, identity, or even those seemingly benign curiosities about your narrative that come up from time to time? For parents, of course you want to help your children as they embark on that path. This can often feel uncertain or overwhelming, with so many subtle nuances that feel way too complicated to handle without appropriate support.
The same as description above.

Quality of life is determined by balancing life's critical components. Dr.Alfred Adler created Individual Psychology based on these components. Adler developed :
OUR LIFE TASKS
1. An adequate sense of self
2. The connection to a significant other.
3. A purpose driven life.
4. Spirituality, a belief in something more than
yourself.
Dr. Adler believed being unbalanced in any of these areas created uncomfortable thoughts and feelings. A continuation of and consequence of these thoughts and feeling is psychological dysfunction.
Rising Strong(tm) is based on the simple physics of vulnerability: if we are brave enough, often enough, we will fall. This is a curriculum about what it takes to get back up and how owning our stories of struggle give us the power to write a daring new ending. Struggle can be our greatest call to courage and the clearest path to a wholehearted life.
Deciding to change takes courage. Starting therapy takes courage. Many only call a therapist when they have tried everything they know to do. Others are tired of reaching the same crossroads time and again - whether in our personal lives (with issues such as anxiety, depression, fear), in our relationships (communication, intimacy, etc.), or a past experience that keeps one from living the full life once imagined. Whatever brings you to therapy, Conscious Healing Counseling is happy to discuss the many options available to you and how we can be most helpful.
