Middle School Girls Group
Middle school years are a tough time for our youngsters. It is a transitional time between childhood and adolescence that warrants a new set of coping skills. This group's goal is to teach the necessary skills in a therapeutic environment to navigate this time with success. Topics include social skills, anxiety management techniques, anger management techniques, etc. This is a semi-structured group that I find best if it evolves with the needs of the group.

LGBTQ Adolescent Support Group
Our LGBTQ youth can experience difficult and confusing feelings during adolescence that have the potential to leave them feeling alone. This group hopes to provide a sense of community among similar aged peers where they can feel safe discussing whatever successes and struggles they have related to gender identity or sexual orientation. Overall this group's goal is to reinforce positive feelings of self-worth and understanding and to provide education in how to cope with any negative feelings that may arise.
