Looking for a space that feels safe enough to talk and work through your struggles with support and connection? To gain perspective? To better understand yourself, your patterns, and practice new, healthy ways of being and coping? What about being able to trust yourself, have your emotions validated and supported, explore relational strategies that can serve you better? As a Black woman & licensed BIPOC therapist, I am deeply in tune with how culture can shape our relationships with ourselves and experiences with anxiety, depression, and trauma. For this reason, I incorporate mind-body/somatic therapy techniques to support healing.

Maybe you've tried again and again to improve things, but nothing seems to help. Maybe you don't have any place where you can think out loud about what your options really are. If your efforts to improve your life at school, at work, at home or in your relationships have been unsuccessful, you may be feeling stuck. Getting into therapy can be a huge first step toward getting unstuck. But this step requires that you make a decision to try something new. So if you'd like to give it a try, please give me a call.

This group will help participants gain understanding and learn skills and tools to improve social competencies. Social thinking is a process that involves understanding our own and others' thoughts, feelings, and intentions in a given situation. Social thinking helps us navigate the social world, develop relationships, and improve our performance at school, work, and home. It teaches that we are in relationships with others and that it's important to engage in behaviors that are expected in a given context to keep others thinking about us positively or neutrally. Michelle Garcia Winner created the Social Thinking Methodology.
