This is a 30 day challenge, complete with e-book written by Leigh-Ann, to go deeper into self love. During 4 online meetings we discuss meaning making, culture and biases against self love. We explore social media, social constructs, barriers and blessings to self love. This group heavily utilizes mediation, journaling and discussing around energy work including chakras and tapping for healing. Graduates have the opportunity to build ongoing cohorts with other alum interested in building writing and/or meditation practices designed for deeper experiential self-knowledge, self-compassion and growth.

I specialize in grief work. I am a spirit medium as well as a mental health counselor. I use EMDR (eye movement) to help clients experience Induced After Death Communication (IADC) with their loved ones. This helps facilitate the grief process and has a powerful impact on understanding how your loved one is still with you and continues to help you and shape your life. This is the most powerful tool I have found in grief work and I find it incredibly more helpful than even doing mediumship readings. Though both have their benefits.

Learning the skills to regulate emotions related to anxiety, anger and depression. Specifically: 1. Mindful Living: Involves learning to live more fully in the present rather than dwelling in the past or worrying about the future. 2. Distress Tolerance: Involves tolerating and accepting crisis situations and then finding ways to be as effective as possible. 3. Emotional Regulation: Involves managing intense emotion that can interfere with functioning effectively in life. 4. Interpersonal Effectiveness: Involves improving communication, assertiveness, and problem solving. DBT is collaborative. Patients are asked to be actively involved in the treatment by giving their input, doing homework, practicing skills.

Getting or staying married reduces symptoms of depression far more than being single or divorced, according to a noted study. We take a brief therapy approach, because no one wants to spend years, or even months in therapy - nor need they. We focus on solutions not problems, on the present not the past.

My passion is working with children 10yo & under who experience anxiety, depression, PTSD, family transitions, grief, & disruptions in attachment. I utilize dance/movement, music, storytelling, play, and art therapies to help children engage in the therapeutic process and heal. Through activities, children are able to freely express emotions and learn to self-soothe using the techniques that naturally help to learn about themselves and the world around them. Parent training & family therapy are also frequently used to support caregivers in responding to children with high emotional needs.
