In my work with individuals recovering from addictions, eating disorders, co-dependency and trauma, I assess which modality (individual, group psychotherapy or family therapy) will help my clients achieve their goals most effectively. I work with parents in the areas of attachment, financial literacy, discipline, boundary setting & launching as well as, couples who are struggling with infertility.I believe a therapist actively participates in the relationship, in addition to observing the process and offering expertise.

This group provides an emotionally safe and supportive environment that is both trauma and diversity focused and informed where group members learn how to explore and practically addressing the impact of systemic violence and oppression on their lives through discussing topics that are often relevant and important to group members, such as: poverty, violence against women, ethnic/racialized violence, religious bigotry, nationalism, ableism or ageism, and cisheterosexism. We start out by building intersectional solidarity among group members that promotes the collective empowerment needed for group members to develop healthier relationships and ultimately increased social consciousness and community engagement.

Along the journey through life challenges are inevitable and there aren't always easy or clear answers about why things happen and what to do about them. We want our lives and life itself to have value, meaning and purpose; and finding or creating these things for ourselves can be confusing, frustrating and even scary. However, finding our deeper reason(s) in life can also be rewarding, exciting and empowering experience that provides the hope, courage, strength and tenacity needed to face life's challenges. Having the courage to begin this process and asking for support along the way doesn't mean you're weak, it makes you strong!

People living with marginalized identities can feel disconnected from the power of choice and free will. Especially in a world that feels difficult to been seen, accepted and heard in systems of injustice. We tend to feel pressure to shrink or disappear but the best justice is self-acceptance, love and empowerment. I enjoy helping people people find their assertive voice, inner strengths and positive self to improve their relationships with others and themselves. My clinical focus includes Anxiety disorders, acute and complex trauma including childhood and organized religious harm, navigating sexual and gender identity.
