When a trigger occurs, people experience the affect in their bodies in the form of racing heart, shallow breathing, clouded thinking, sweating, etc. Therefore when we consider healing from trauma, it only makes sense that we would need to involve the body in order to be successful. That is exactly what experts and research have proven. Through the use of conscious gentle movement and breathing techniques, individuals can again feel safe in their bodies. This class is good for anyone, but will be facilitated with individuals who have a history of trauma in mind.
