Women's Divorce Support Group: Seasons of Change
Now in our 6th year, we have found the ability to give and receive support from others on the divorce journey, with support of a skilled clinician, to be essential in promoting healing. This 8 week online group addresses the emotional upheaval that often accompanies the process of divorce in a woman's life. With opportunities for emotional support, participants learn about the stages of grief as they pertain to divorce, develop coping strategies and process the experience of divorce. Skills include somatic healing awareness, trauma informed techniques, acceptance and commitment therapy. Resource information including ways to support children are also reviewed in this group.
