Women's Issues Support Groups in Georgia

A group where women come together to embrace and love their VAGINIAS'. Through engaging workshops, heartfelt discussions, and shared experiences, we will explore and cultivate a deeper connection to our bodies, our sexuality, and our divine feminine energy. This will be a transformative journey towards self-love, empowerment, and sexual liberation. Together, we will celebrate our unique beauty, honor our personal stories, and empower each other to fully embrace our authentic selves. Let's embark on this journey of self-discovery, hand in hand, as we redefine what it means to truly love and honor the women we are.

Process-oriented group for women (self ID as a woman or self ID on a spectrum of gender that includes femaleness) who identify under the queer umbrella (bisexual, lesbian, asexual, pansexual, demisexual, queer, questioning their sexuality, etc). While the topics of gender and sexuality are inherently part of group dialogue, they are not the sole reason for our gathering--we discuss all things pertinent to our individual and collective lives. First and last 3 meetings are mandatory to enhance group cohesion, trust, and opportunities for growth.

I work with adult individuals of all backgrounds, bodies, and beliefs. I provide clients with a safe, therapeutic space where they can speak their truths, process past and present events, build insight and self-awareness, and develop skills to become aligned with a more contented, empowered self. My perspective is strengths-based, LGBTQIA-affirmative, and integrative.

I value honest and thoughtful communication, which means I communicate in an attentive, supportive, compassionate, empowering, and non-judgmental manner while being authentic, direct, and transparent. I utilize validation and humor in therapy to foster connection and to create space for healthy, long-lasting change. I seek to help my clients deeply accept and understand their own thoughts, emotions, actions, and experiences so they can more effectively navigate their relationships with self and the world.

My approach is seen through a cultural lens that validates and normalizes your lived experiences and humanity. I am here to be a conduit for your healing journey by recognizing the wear and tear societal pressures may inflict on your mind and body. My work centers Black & POC individuals, couples, and families who struggle to create harmonious relationships with themselves and others due to learned dysfunctional patterns and intergenerational trauma from systemic inequities (familial, cultural, and societal).

I am a Licensed Psychologist who specializes in working with trauma survivors in individual, group, & couples therapy (Gottman Method). I received extensive training in trauma therapy at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). I only use treatments proven to reduce trauma & Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) symptoms. Trauma therapy is not easy, but I will walk alongside you as you build courage and resilience to heal and thrive! You must do the work if you want to get better. It's OK to be hesitant or ambivalent. However, you must be committed to getting better, which requires some significant changes. Are you ready?
