My practice is focused upon helping people change; solve problems; increase awareness, and forgive others and themselves. Therapy provides a supportive environment to help you face your fears, make decisions and improve relationships. The outcome of successful therapy is a state of resolution that helps you move forward in new patterns of positive growth.

This group is designed for the younger child. We meet weekly to play board games with the group leader in a small group setting. We learn the art of how to be a "good friend" through building the necessary skills of social reciprocity, and learning how to be an active listener; not "talking over or to" someone, as well as, being patient. We focus on curbing impulsivity and taking turns, waiting for others to express themselves, so we can find true connection with others to build meaningful friendships. The goal is to create a true connection with one other member by the end of group.

Welcome! I believe our best work is created in a collaborative spirit; whether we choose a coaching or therapy modality to work. We each have personal strengths; let's utilize yours to stabilize your weaknesses while we work through your present transition. Life comes at us fast. Sometimes, we need someone beside us to remind us we do have what we need inside, if we know where to look. Often times it’s just a matter of finding a bit of clarity and setting goals. In our work together we’ll strive to ensure you reach success in practicing new skills & attain new heights. It’s time to define that life desired. What is your True North?

At times we find that our lives feel out of control or like we aren't getting our needs met. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) provides four categories of skills to attend to our needs more effectively: Mindfulness, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Emotion Regulation, and Distress Tolerance. DBT skills groups are offered to help participants gain control over their lives by changing how they handle themselves in difficult situations and relationships. By learning skills that adjust our behavior for the better, we give ourselves the best chance to meet our needs.

In the most basic terms, my professional interests are in the areas of health, identity, and personal growth. My approach is integrative and tailored to the client's needs. Therapeutic sessions attend to clients' current distress and foster awareness on how certain behaviors that were once adaptive may no longer be of benefit. The intention is to decrease distress, foster awareness, and encourage personal growth towards more mindful, healthful living.

This will be a safe space for all issues that are troubling you. The style of the group is process. What is happening in the here and now today that is causing doubt, stress, anxiety, tears, sleepless nights, and even depression. All topics are welcome. Judgment is not. We may use a little CBT and even EMDR. Ever heard of FLASH? If not, come on through and find out! We will definitely use a lot of humor and love. I help therapists overcome isolation, burnout, imposter syndrome, and anxiety to help them feel more supported, calm, organized and empowered.
