Drama therapy for adolescents.
Drama therapy is an active experiential approach that uses theater techniques to promote mental health. Our group work uses issue oriented improvisational theater such as story, theater games, role play and performance in a fun and creative atmosphere. Focusing on group concerns, we create new possibilities for growth and change. Unconscious material and issues may surface in a safe, new supportive peer group.

Drama therapy for children
Drama and play are a crucial part of healthy human development. It is sometimes difficult for young people who are faced with difficulties to express their feelings in a verbal way but drama therapy offers an active experiential approach which provides a context for participants to tell their stories, express feelings and problem solve. In a 60-90 minute session we use the creative medium of drama, play, story, art, music and movement to work through issues in a fun supportive atmosphere.

Group Therapy fosters healing in a supportive environment. Individuals share challenges as we all work together to feel empowered we move towards positive life changes. As a trained group drama therapist, I inspire active participation through discussion, role play, theater games and shared story telling. The groups are engaging and fun!!! You are not alone!
