This is a structured psychoeducational group that runs for a cycle of 24 meetings where individuals learn 4 modules of skills: Mindfulness, which are skills to assist individuals in being more aware and present in the moment and making wise choices in responding to situations; Distress Tolerance, which are skills to assist individuals in tolerating distress without reacting in ways that make things worse; Interpersonal Effectiveness, which are skills to increase effectiveness in dealing with others, saying no and asking for what you want; Emotion Regulation, which is about managing intense emotions effectively and staying regulated.
