DBT Parent and Teen Groups-telehealth
Struggling with regulation? Blow ups occurring frequently? Shutting down and not knowing how to connect? DBT group can teach skills to manage intense emotions, improve negative communication, reduce impulsivity, and decrease high-risk behaviors. Adolescents and parents can each attend a separately held weekly DBT group to learn core DBT skills. Parents will learn evidence based parenting skills to more effectively communicate with their children, manage challenging behaviors at home, and to improve their own coping skills. The focus will be to empower the family to use DBT skills to manage emotions and problem solve through situations which arise.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills Group
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) group is open for enrollment and will begin meeting Spring 2025. This group may serve as a refresher for those who previously had DBT or those who may be desiring to learn skills without committing to a full DBT program. Group will be held virtually. DBT group will cover all 4 core concepts of DBT: Interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and mindfulness. Group will include homework review, mindfulness, and teaching of a skill each session.

Radically Open (RO) DBT Skills Virtual Group
Do you often feel misunderstood? Are you hyper detail focused? Do you have high social comparisons or expectations of others? Radically Open (RO) DBT was developed for individuals who consistently desire to be correct, value rules and fairness, and strive to exceed expectations. Overcontrol can be found in disorders such as OCD, chronic depression, and anorexia nervosa. RO DBT skills work to address loneliness and disconnect from others, isolation, and perfectionism.
