Creative Writing for Unblocking the Heart & Mind
As a certified creative writing group leader with the Amherst Writers & Artists Association I am pleased to offer this ongoing positive reinforcement writing group. The group is safe, and it does not matter if you have never written before or if you are a published writer looking for a great group to be a part of, everyone is welcome! All the writing is positively assessed within the group, the writers read and those listening always address the writer as the narrator and never assume the writer is sharing personal details. This creates a safe place to write and heal.

Meditation & Stretching for Sleep
This is a lovely group for those looking to slow the chaotic mind and restless body. We can do remote access through Zoom, if you like, or you may come into Natural Paths. Bring a pillow and blanket Zzzzzz. No, you may not stay overnight. LOL. We begin with some standing stretches, then seated movement. We settle in to laying on a mat, maybe with legs up the wall, where the meditation - Nidra - begins. By the time the group ends, one hour, we will all be relaxed and our bodies more supple for better sleep.
Writing and Yoga Retreat - Lake Tawakoni - Aug 19-
So much about ourselves is discovered through creative writing, and through this relaxing, restorative yoga, the much needed love for self grows. Meet Friday, Aug 19, 2022, 3-7pm at Lake Tawankoni house, enjoy the first group writing session, and a light dinner followed by Yoga Nidra for sleep. Saturday rise for yoga, breakfast, then we write! Vegetarian Lunch, free time, writing, and finally another relaxing yoga practice. Sunday we practice yoga, write, enjoy one more meal and a little time at the lake. Dr Tawni is a certified leader with the Amherst Writers & Artists Association. For couples and individuals - beginners to experts, come retreat.
