Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
In this group, Stephanie White, an experienced professional Clinical Counselor and Family Therapist will help members identify and correct unhealthy patterns in their thinking. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy explores the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Members will work towards enhancing awareness of negative thoughts and beliefs in addition to identifying and achieving behavioral goals. Through discussions, learning new concepts/skills, completing worksheets, and role playing/practicing, members will learn to challenge and replace unhelpful thinking styles and beliefs. Cognitive and behavioral changes lead to emotional growth and healing.

Mindfulness-Based Group Therapy
Stress, being emotionally overwhelmed and pain are uninvited guests in our daily lives; however, they are part of the human condition. Stress and pain may have you feeling irritable, tense, depressed and anxious, which impacts your entire life. The KEY to regaining balance is responding to these stressors with mindful, non-judgmental awareness. Impossible? Research has shown that mindfulness-based approaches to healing the body and mind are highly effective and can even change our brain.

Taking Charge Group
Many people seek treatment because they feel stuck. Taking Charge is an open discussion group where individuals share successes and struggles in their efforts to get unstuck. This group is designed to help members deepen their understanding of what gets in the way of building a life worth living and avoid unhealthy and unsafe behaviors. Clients are expected to offer and receive support and feedback and will be encouraged to focus on their own actions and choices.
