Children of Divorce Processing Group

This group is for children in grades 2nd through 5th. Using art therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma informed care, and play therapy techniques, children in this group will learn how to process and cope with their parents’ separation or divorce. Children will end the six week group with a feelings vocabulary, the ability to know their parents’ divorce is not their fault, and coping skills for when divorce affects their life.
