The group allows caregivers to share experiences, exchange information, and point each other toward organizations that have been particularly helpful. You will also learn stress management techniques and devise productive strategies for dealing with intra-family conflicts or tensions that may arise around difficult caregiving decisions. It is not selfish to take care of yourself.
