Anorexics and Bulimics Anonymous

12 week 12 step therapy group. Designed to help people recover from what appeared to be a "hopeless" condition. Lasting relief from *Preoccupation with body weight and shape, * Food: restricting, bingeing, purging and emotional overeating and *Obsessive exercising. 12 step program addresses the psychological and spiritual component of eating disorders. We combine the 12 step model with the "Anorexic and Bulimics Anonymous Textbook" to be used as twin vehicles of recovery. Group allows for shared experience and recovery. Group provides connection, validation and acceptance. My experience running groups is extensive and I find them to be very powerful and healing.
