Active Parenting for Stepfamilies in 3 is a program to help parents and stepparents raise children in the challenging stepfamily environment. It teaches how to use powerful communication and negotiation skills to strengthen marriage and family. It is a video based program to help new couples work together to build a new stepfamily. In just three sessions, parents and stepparents will learn about stepfamily living, how to turn differences into opportunities and about how to encourage stepfamily success. It is also helpful for foster parents, adoptive parents, single parents and others affected by loss and change.

Active Parenting Now in 3 combines video, activities and discussion to help parents raise responsible children who are able to resist negative peer pressure. It is designed for parents of children 5 to 12. The program demonstrates non-violent discipline techniques, positive communication and effective encouragement skills. It features families of different races and configurations. In just 3 sessions parents will learn techniques to improve family communication and cooperation, effective non-violent discipline techniques, how to teach responsibility and about power, courage and self esteem. An additional discussion session featuring common-sense, proven parenting techniques can be added to complement program.

Active Parenting of Teens: Families in Action
Active Parenting of Teens provides a unique approach to improving parent-child interaction and strengthening our youth against the risks they face every day. This program can be used with parents and teens together, with teens alone or with parents alone. Teens will learn communication, self respect and conflict-resolution skills. It also addresses prevention issues. Combining entertaining video, group discussion and high energy activities for the teens, this program will teach both groups how to communicate effectively, get along better, and avoid problems (including drugs, alcohol, sex and violence). Research proves it's effective!
