ACT-based teen groups

In-person groups for Autistic adolescents (12-19) with gender identity issues and/or anxiety. Groups utilize a double empathy perspective when addressing social engagement. Groups meet 1-2x a week for three-six months. Groups run during the week, after school. Teens are placed in groups based upon their individual needs. Participants have an opportunity to connect with others, access supports, and learn skills that support whole-person wellbeing. Goals are based on their thoughts/feelings/emotions that come up for them on a day-to-day basis. Groups may infuse complementary health approaches including reiki, somatic therapy, meditation, breathwork, and other mindfulness approaches
